Prerequisites
- Administrative access to your Zimbra server
- An active subscription to MailChannels and your SMTP Username & Password(Host Console)
Step 1: Configure Zimbra to Route Outbound Emails via MailChannels
1. Log in to the Zimbra Admin Console:
- Navigate to
https://<your-zimbra-server>:7071 - Log in with your admin credentials
2. Configure Outbound Mail Server:
- Go to Configure > Global Settings
- Select the MTA tab
- Under
Relay MTA for external delivery, entersmtp.mailchannels.net - Set
SMTP Portto587 - Enable
TLS encryption - Enter your MailChannels SMTP username and password into the
Relay Authentication UsernameandRelay Authentication Passwordfields - Save the changes
Step 2: Configure Zimbra to Handle Incoming Emails
MailChannels Inbound Filtering requires an active Inbound subscription before use. See the Inbound tab in your Host Console for details. With an active Inbound Filtering subscription, use the following guides to configure your users and domains: MailChannels Inbound Filtering
